Visual redesign for web

GTC requested to create a new graphic design element/visual to illustrate the “Funding a Booming Industry” section/tile on the Good Tree Capital home page to replace the current image.

Before Design:

The client stated that the Current visual does not work for the following reasons:

Is not dynamic, does not command your attention.
The visual does not convey the message in the text directly enough. Lacks reference to a growing cannabis industry, financial opportunity, and Good Tree Capital’s position.
Caption is very hard to read and does not help with the story telling.

In order to address the client concerns I designed to:

Command users attention
Convey message in the text while referencing:
The growing cannabis industry,
Financial opportunity + Good Tree Capital’s position.
Exemplify storytelling with easy to read and scannable design.

After Iteration:

Design RATIONALE

I used an infographic style that is cohesive with GTC's branding while also addressing the client concerns. I made a note that the spacing/sizing are adjustable to the placement on the webpage, since GTC requested it be responsive for web.

I also annotated that upon hover of the circular images, an overlay text would emerge, displaying more information. This would be an engaging feature for users as they are attempting to learn more about GTC's value proposition.

I also added a separate file for just the circular images (using existing color and images from your social media) that could easily be used on emails or investor presentations.
